It's cozy, sitting like this, and Bucky wonders what it might be like if it was with someone and it was real. He doesn't think he can be with anyone because he's too messed up inside and, besides, Natasha Romanoff can do a lot better than him but if he could have it, it would look a lot like this.

There's points in the movie where he focuses more on how close he is to Natasha and how comfortable and natural it feels to have her feet in his lap and the blanket thrown over them but, again, it's not a thing he can have so he shouldn't be wanting it.

"He has a new girl every movie. I guess that's the only spy-accurate thing, huh? Can't be with anyone when you have that kind of life. Nobody understands you enough."
