Yeah. That's what we needed to talk about. [It seemed to have appeared. Tenderly she touches her belly, already used to this feeling. It was all so sudden with the twins, too. She can't help but smile a little before moving into the living room, and opening the door for him to come in.]
I thought you should know. You're the only person I have been with since I have been here. [In that way anyway.]
[Her fingers cover his hand. She has only felt slight flutters in her stomach, but the fact he reiterates he's there makes her smile. She doesn't know how it happened so quickly, if it was her or this place, but it's not the first time she was suddenly pregnant.]
Well I could tell you the percentage is actually one hundred. [She smiles at him.]
I haven't been exactly social except for that one night, and I still ended up with you anyway.
[Maybe that's telling, the way she's suddenly choosing him. She would tell herself it's just comfort, but now he's about to be the father of her baby. That means something.]
Yeah, well, in some societies, I'm a catch. I don't know about this society but...we'll say I am. Makes me feel better about myself.
( Bucky keeps his hand there against her belly and he can't feel anything but it looks real so it's gotta be real, right? Wanda's full of magic. Makes perfect sense in the grand scheme. )
You need anything? I can start building and fetching and doing all the fatherly things.
[His hand is warm, still on her, and she smiles a little back at him. It doesn't really feel real, but she knows it is. Wanda has felt this before. Her hand moves from overlapping his to touching his face gently. She honestly doesn't know where she would be without him here.]
You are still a catch, Bucky. Here and home. [He was a good man, even if his past might not have been as much.]
I suppose I should make room for the baby here. A crib, clothes, blankets. I only had babies for a short bit of time. I do not know how it will be here.
Yeah, I've got to help you get the stuff so we can get ready. I don't know how this is gonna work since it's...not normal already. Normally I would build the crib but I don't know if I can get the materials here.
( It's not like there's a hardware store down the road or anything like that. He wraps his arms around Wanda and brings her close. )
I'm here with you and we're doing this thing, all right?
[She wants to say that it's never been normal with her, that Vision didn't really know either, but they did what they could. Part of her doesn't want to mention him right now though, but then part of her still feels by not speaking about him is like forgetting him.
She falls quiet when he pulls her close. It's not that she isn't grateful for him. This certainly wasn't planned by either of them. It's bringing back memories though, like she's living the same thing she was in Westview.]
You do not think this is some sort of trick, do you? [It was her before controlling things, but she knows now it's not her this time. That much she is sure of, but how would they have known about Westview?]
When I was pregnant before, it was like this, too. [And now Vision is gone again. Her boys are gone again. She's not sure she can live through something like that without completely breaking, turning into something that wasn't her.]

( Bucky reaches over with his right hand and rubs at her belly, wondering how this could have happened so quickly. Is that the magic of this place? )

I can't be alone again, Bucky.
