"That's a shame," Bucky says quietly. "You're supposed to do that. I have a memory like swiss cheese and even I know that." He feels a little more grounded right now, though, and he thinks it's because it's simpler when he's just an Alpha with an Omega and hormones are talking instead of words and memories.

"I'll run you a bath later so you won't be so sore," he decides. "And I'll find something to cook for you. You're going to need it. Right now, though, I think this will be nice. I haven't had anyone to just talk to in a really long time. Steve wants me to be who I used to be and I can't be that guy anymore no matter how hard I try."

Natasha shrugged off the concern, not really willing to swap sob-stories just now. "Order takeout," she suggested to the offer of cooking, however. "There's a really good Chinese place nearby that delivers, and a pizza joint right up the street, too." A bath sounded lovely, though, but she honestly didn't think she had the energy to even sit up at the moment.

"We can talk," the redhead offered, quiet. "I'm a really good listener, so babble all you like." A spark of humor touched her eyes and her tone as she added, "Although I'll probably poke you if you start repeating yourself, Barnes."

"I'll order takeout this time," Bucky concedes. "But I am ordering groceries and cooking for you. You need something better than takeout." Maybe that's a little too much Alpha protectiveness for a first time but his hormones are bouncing all over the place and it seems like such a simple thing to let him cook for her. He'd feel better if she did. He wants to provide for her even if it's just for right now.

"It's not that I have a lot to say," he says when she offers to listen to him babble. "It's just that I don't know how to talk to people anymore. You smell so warm and comforting that it's a lot easier with you but even Steve...his scent throws me off. So does Stark's. It's not right and it's Omega but it just winds me up and irritates me, it doesn't soothe me. I don't have any Omegas to talk to. There's Wanda but she can do the thing in your head. I don't think she'd mean to but I don't want to risk her seeing something she doesn't want to see."

"Sure. There's a market that delivers, too. It's not far, I don't think. I haven't ever ordered from there, but you're welcome to order what you want." Natasha chuckled, amused at the thought of Big Bad Bucky Barnes in her kitchen, whistling through his teeth as he bustled around making a five course meal. "I love breakfast, if that helps. I could eat breakfast food for each meal of the day."

Well, when she did eat. She'd never really had much of a life schedule, as they called it now. A handful of crackers here, a box of Thai takeout there; she managed.

Listening further, Natasha arched an eyebrow in mild amusement. "You're babbling now," she pointed out. "But that's all right. You have a nice voice, and I never mind listening, as I mentioned." God knew she'd been the sounding board for both Steve Rogers and Tony Stark, previously.

"Mmm, well, I'll make you a breakfast for the ages," Bucky promises. When Natasha says he's babbling, he laughs and it rumbles through his chest. He doesn't think he's talked enough to qualify as babbling since he got out of HYDRA control and he likes the idea of it.

"Used to be an extrovert," he says by way of apology. "Would you mind if I got my mouth on you? I want to smell you some more."

He needs the scent to be truly grounded and calm and Natasha's is utterly delicious.

She glinted lightly. "I'm gonna hold you to that, Barnes." It was a promise. When he asked for her scent, Natasha arched her back and stretched a bit, feeling her abused muscles protest. But that was all right. Cardio was the best exercise, really.

"I don't mind," she gave permission. Shifting to her back, she fanned her hair out over the pillows, coaxing Bucky to her with a small, gentle hand on his left shoulder. "Smell me all you want."

Bucky's glad she's all right with it and when Natasha situates herself so he can scent her, he covers her with his body and inhales along her neck and shoulder to get a noseful of her. It's calming, her scent, and he kisses along her soft skin to make it come out a little more for him. She has beautiful skin, pale and begging to be marked.

"You said no teeth but if I could...I would mark you up," he admits in a low, ragged voice.

He licks along the curve of her breast instead and slides his left hand up to trail along her arm and pin it above her head. He doesn't want her getting away from him.

It was...nice, she decided, being coddled a little. Barnes' weight wasn't too much, and his body, as scarred as it was, was very aesthetically pleasant. Thick, ridged, and hard, firm in all the right places. Any woman would love being beneath it. Provided she could handle the mountain of emotional baggage and PTSD that came with it.

The rumble about teeth and marks piqued her strange humor and Natasha huffed a small chuckle, offering no protest when Bucky pushed her arm over her head, bending his own to her breasts. His mouth was warm, smooth, and soft, nicely enticing.

"...not right now," she told him, back arching of its own accord. "I'd rather not look as if I came out second best in a fight with a badger, Barnes."

"Hey, I said mark, not gnaw. There's a big difference between the two of them, okay?"

Still, it elicits a laugh from him and it's a genuine laugh. It's been such a long time since he's been able to laugh like this that he welcomes it and he's glad that he feels safe enough with Natasha to be able to do it. He nuzzles at her breast though and when he kisses her skin, there's not even the barest scrape of teeth.

"I want you to smell like me," he murmurs. "I want everyone to know that you're mine."

Steve would be thrilled to hear him laugh. Granted, the venue might not be so appealing, but at least the man could find humor somewhere, right? Natasha chortled along with him, smirking to herself. "Just as long as you know the difference, malyshka, da?" She fancied she might let him leave a nip here or there later on, but for the moment, while he was leveling out, she simply couldn't risk it.

Kisses and licks were well and good for now; better than, she thought with a soft sigh, feeling that slow, wet tongue glide across her skin. His murmured words were soft on her ears, and Natasha took them for an Alpha's instinctive possession, nothing too serious, for now.

"I will," she replied, mouth quirked in a half-smile. "Especially if we don't shower soon, we'll both reek of each other." Which wasn't entirely a bad thing; their scents actually complimented each other, unlike some pairs, who were rancid even at the best times.

The little pet name for her makes his Alpha side preen and Bucky sucks at her nipple lightly before sliding lower to kiss a line down her abdomen. He wants to get his mouth on her and taste her while she's still covered in him. It's driving him crazy.

"I want you reeking of me," he murmurs. "But right now, I want to look at you while my come is still leaking out of you."

It's a filthy thing to say, something he'd never be able to manage if he weren't in rut and half out of his mind, but right now such things are coming out without a filter.

"Would you like that, Natasha?"

He was in rut, so it wasn't surprising that he'd be more primal than was usual; Natasha knew that Bucky Barnes would die before behaving so...crudely, so she didn't gasp in offended shock by the crude commentary. Though the thought of that dark head delving between her thighs wasn't exactly horrible, Natasha managed to bite her lower lip to keep an equally filthy moan in her throat and her voice somewhat level.

"...it's not about what I want," she husked, casually draping a lean leg over Bucky's upper left bicep. "...it's about what you need." Then her lips twitched, and she slowly licked her lips, deliberately lifting her hips as if invitation. "But I won't say 'no'."

"I'll make it about what you want," Bucky counters. He gets between her thighs and pushes them apart wide enough to accommodate his shoulders before using his thumbs to part her folds and just look at her for a long moment. God, she's beautiful.

"Do you know how beautiful you are? I've been all over you," he murmurs. "When I taste you, it's going to taste like me too. I'm going to know that you're mine."

He dips his head and does just that, sliding his tongue against her slowly. He isn't so desperate right now so he can take his time.

A lesser woman might have felt awkward, or self-conscious, about being on such an intimate display. Natasha had learned long ago that flesh was just flesh, thus only a light flush graced pale skin, and not out of any embarrassment. Particularly when Bucky did exactly what he'd said he planned to do, and the first touch of that velvet tongue had her shivering in very short order.

Hardly any of her previous lovers had taken the time to please her, that being the recipient of any tactile attention was almost a new experience. But oh, wasn't it nice... She pushed a hand into Bucky's thick hair, clenching tight but not quite pulling. She bit off a whine, adamant not to let herself enjoy it too much.

God, she tastes good. Bucky can taste himself on Natasha but underneath there's the sweetness of her own taste and he could live off it, he thinks. He works in two fingers and crooks them, needing to feel her fall apart around him. It's the only thing he can focus on.

The Alpha part of him desperately needs her to come for him and whimper beneath his touch. He needs her to beg him to take care of her.

The insertion of those thick, rough fingers had her hissing softly, biting her full lower lip on a wanton little moan, and Natasha's hips jerked of their own accord, begging for more. Her back arched, her body taking over her good sense without permission, but then, she really didn't fight it all that hard, either.

Barnes definitely knew what he was doing; there was far less fumbling then she'd initially expected. Which was a good thing, but her curiosity piqued, just a little. Well, they'd discuss it later. Maybe. Now was for letting him work her over, parting her thighs even more to accommodate his broad shoulders, and rub her own nipples for that extra bit of stimulation, whimpering softly when her hips began to shallowly buck, insistent.

When Natasha starts moving her hips up against his face, it only encourages him to be more insistent. God, she tastes amazing, and even though he's not getting any stimulation on his own body, this is easing his rut all the same. He encourages her to move and adds another finger, stretching her as he works her over with his tongue.

He loves doing this regardless but it's amazing right now when all he wants is her smell and taste to calm himself down. He knows he's not playing fair right now with the way he's curling his tongue around her clit and working her with his fingers but playing fair isn't exactly what he wants to do right this moment.

It didn't take too much longer to have her stiffening, hips bucking hard as she strained, biting at her lower lip to keep from screaming. She did have a few neighbors, after all. But the climax washed over her, regardless, leaving the redhead spent and breathless collapsed against her sheets and pillows.

The Omega in her purred, sated for the moment, and absolutely inviting to the Alpha still wedged between her thighs. It was instinct to beckon him up to her, welcome him into her arms and hold him close. She wanted to nest with him in such a way.

And in retrospect, it was just a little scary.

But Natasha couldn't think that far ahead, not when her blood still tingled and her skin was still flushed with soft color. She only gave a soft, signed moan of sheer pleasure, and tugged at Bucky a little, wanting to nestle into his arms and drowse.

Bucky is more than happy to follow her insistent tugs up so he can pull Natasha into his arms and hold her close. He feels soothed for the first time in a long while and the rough edges have been buffed out so he can relax. It's more than what the sedative did - it's true satiation from his hormones being given into and finally released.

"I could hold you forever," he says quietly. "Just so you're aware of that. We could lay just like this for hours and I wouldn't get tired of it. It's been so, so long for me. I think a part of me missed this and I didn't even realize it."

She didn't protest when Bucky pulled her into his mismatched arms, quite the contrary. It was instinct, of a sort, to lie with him and cuddle close. To nest. One instinct she'd never really experienced before. He seemed much calmer now, though, and for that, she was thankful.

He nuzzled into her hair, murmuring words into her curls, and Natasha murred in response, eyes drowsy and skin still tingling all over. "...you can," she replied, words slurred slightly. "At least, for now." She automatically nuzzled into his neck, purring softly. "...whatever you need, malyshka..."

Although she knew she'd need a good meal and a hot bath before too long, lest she get ravenously hungry and her muscles begin to protest all this extracurricular exercise.

Bucky likes the pet name and it soothes him a little, soothes him enough that he can doze with Natasha warm and soft in his arms. After a little while, though, he's hungry and he knows he needs to get food for her and make sure she has a warm bath and other things. He needs to take care of her the way she's taking care of him right now.

He slides out of the bed and kisses her softly. "I'm going to order food for us, all right? Do you want me to run you a bath or get a shower started for you? You could take it while we wait."

She drowsed, lingering between sleep and awake until Bucky stirred beside her, instantly jolting her back to total consciousness. But there was no threat, just the Alpha slipping out of bed and leaning back over to peck her lips lightly, a gesture that, oddly, touched her.

"Da," Natasha agreed, voice still roughened by sleep. "A bath would be lovely." Just thinking about soaking in a tub full of bubbles made her sigh in contentment. "The tub has whirlpool jets, too. You can turn them on once the water's full enough."

"I'll go do that then," Bucky says. It doesn't take long to run the water nice and hot and get the jets turned on and once he has, he comes back to the bed to get Natasha up and out.

"If you'll put your arms around my neck, I'll carry you in. No need for you to exert yourself right now. You need to relax until the food gets here, all right? I'm going to be all right for a little while."

This is important too, taking care of her, and he needs to do it as much as he needs the sex.

Natasha obligingly let Bucky carry her into the bathroom, the steam rising from the bath making her shiver lightly. She shuddered, however, when he lowered her into the hot water, but from bliss, not any sort of discomfort. The hot, swirling water felt heavenly on her skin, and the heat immediately began to seep into her achy muscles.

"Spasibo, malyshka," the redhead murmured with a slight smile, sliding down to rest her head against the back of the tub. Her eyes closed, but she spoke again, asking, "What did you order?" And please don't kill the delivery kid, either.

The pet name soothes him even more and Bucky smiles. It's soft, to be sure, but it comes to him naturally and easy. When she asks what he ordered he's happy to tell her everything he'd ordered off the Chinese menu he'd found in her kitchen.

"I had them send a lot since I have to eat a lot and I haven't really been eating enough," Bucky admits. "Stark wasn't starving me or anything, nothing like that, but I'm just used to not being able to have things and it's hard to trust it. Right now, though, I'm burning through everything I have and then some because of my rut."

He reaches out and draws the fingers of his right hand along the curve of her cheek. God, her skin is soft. "I'll let you eat first when it gets here. I don't have a bank account but I had some cash from when I was in Romania and Stark exchanged it for me. I'll handle dinner for us."
